A weak area of low pressure will move up the coast today and combine with onshore flow to spread cloud cover over the state. It will continue to be cool, with a high in the upper 50s.

The low will pass by early tomorrow morning, bringing a slight chance of drizzle to the eastern portion of the state late tonight into tomorrow morning. Tomorrow will remain partly sunny with a high near 60.

A cold front will approach the area tomorrow night and Wednesday. Showers and thunderstorms are expected to break out ahead of the front and spread into the area Wednesday afternoon and night. Highs Wednesday will be closer to normal for this time of year, topping out in the upper 60s to near 70.

High pressure will continue to control our weather through the weekend and into next week.

Expect cool, dry and breezy conditions, with highs in the low to mid 40s through Tuesday. In western Maryland, expect scattered upslope snow showers to continue through the weekend.

As we move towards midweek, the models continue to show an area of low pressure moving through the southeast in some form or fashion.

There are discrepancies between what the low will do and if it will impact our area. In any case, the threat of a late season snowfall persists and if it were to occur, it would most likely be on Wednesday.

As low pressure continues to move away from the area, today will feature more clouds than sun, with a slight chance of a sprinkle this afternoon.

It will be breezy with highs in the mid to upper 50s.

Tomorrow will be a bit cooler, with more widely scattered showers during the afternoon. Highs will be around 50.

Friday will start a stretch of cool and dry weather that will extend through the middle of next week, the exception will be in the mountains where upslope snow showers are likely.

Highs will generally be around 40 each day.

High pressure will slide off the coast today, but not before providing a mostly sunny day today. Highs will push into the upper 40s.

Low pressure currently developing over eastern Texas will move northeast today and will pass by to our south late tonight and tomorrow morning. The storm will be fairly weak and fast moving, which will limit the amount of precipitation that will fall.

Currently it appears that temperatures will be cold enough for rain to change to snow across the northern and western part of the state. In these areas, a slushy inch or two of snowfall is possible.

High pressure over southern Canada will continue to control our weather.

Partly cloudy skies this morning will persist today as light northeasterly flow keeps moisture in the area. There will be breaks in the clouds, allowing a bit of sunshine at times, with temperatures rising to around 50 this afternoon.

Tomorrow will feature a bit more sunshine leading to highs a little warmer than today. Highs will be in the mid 50s.

Expect mostly sunny skies on Saturday, with highs again in the mid 50s.

Today will be partly sunny and breezy with highs in the low to mid 50s.

High pressure moves in tomorrow, bringing mostly sunny skies but maintaining the breezy conditions. Highs will be in the low 50s with northwest winds gusting to near 20mph.

Clouds increase Sunday as an area of low pressure moves by to our south and out to sea. Highs Sunday will be around 50 degrees.

The first half of the work week looks cloudy but dry as another system develops to our south. Highs Monday and Tuesday will continue below normal, in the low 50s.

After a few sprinkles this morning, expect a variably cloudy day today, with partial clearing towards evening. Highs will be in the mid 50s.

Overnight lows will drop into the mid to upper 30s tonight under mostly clear skies.

Expect more clouds tomorrow as a weak area of low pressure moves through. The low will also cause winds to pick up during the afternoon. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s.

High pressure builds in behind the low on Saturday, providing a mostly sunny day with highs in the low 50s.

The remnants of Sandy continue to spin over Western New York state and will continue to push northward into Canada today.

Expect decreasing clouds today with high temperatures in the low to mid 50s.

Skies will remain mostly cloudy this evening, with temperatures in the upper 40s to low 50s for Trick-or-Treating, dropping into the lower 40s overnight.

Expect a mix of clouds and sun Thursday and Friday with highs continuing in the low to mid 50s.

High pressure will push into the area on Saturday, leading to more sunshine and highs in the mid 50s.
