A dry cold front will move through today bringing nothing but scattered clouds this afternoon as it does so. Highs today will be in the mid 60s.

Cool Canadian high pressure pushes in tonight, clearing skies and allowing temperatures to drop into the upper 20s across northern and western Maryland to the mid to upper 30s closer to the Bay.

A Freeze Watch is in effect for the northern counties.

Expect plentiful sunshine tomorrow as the high moves overhead. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s.

Sunny Today, Cold Front Crosses Late Tomorrow

High pressure will slide off the coast today, providing another sunny day today and for the majority of tomorrow. Highs today will be around 80 degrees.

A cold front will approach tomorrow afternoon and isolated showers and thunderstorms will develop ahead of it. Expect a mostly sunny, breezy and warm day with highs into the mid 80s.

Clouds will increase late in the afternoon as the showers and thunderstorms move through. Strong gusty winds are possible with any storm that develops.

The front will clear the state during the overnight and cool Canadian air will filter in behind it. Sunday will be mostly sunny with highs around 70 degrees.

High pressure has taken control of our weather and will provide mostly sunny skies and high temperatures warming to near 90 by Sunday.

Today will be mostly sunny and breezy, with highs in the mid 80s.

Saturday will be a carbon copy of today, except a few degrees warmer, with highs in the upper 80s.

We look to push towards and will likely top 90 degrees in some areas on Sunday under mostly sunny skies.

High pressure to the west will continue to keep our skies clear today, as temperatures push into the 70s this afternoon. It will still be breezy into the afternoon, with wind gusts to near 20mph expected.

Tomorrow will again be very nice, with plenty of sunshine and highs in the mid to upper 70s.

Thin clouds will increase tomorrow night and into Sunday, ahead of our next rain maker. Most of Sunday looks dry, with a chance of showers and thunderstorms increasing late in the day. Highs will be near 80.

Today will be partly sunny, with highs in the upper 60s.  It will be breezy, with wind gusts to near 30mph this afternoon.

A cold front will cross the area late this afternoon, bringing a slight chance of showers through this evening.  Behind the front, temperatures will be about 10 degrees cooler tomorrow, under partly sunny skies.

Another disturbance will move through on Wednesday, bringing another chance of showers and more gusty winds.  Highs will again top out in the upper 50s.

High pressure continues to work into the area from Canada. This will continue our stretch of cool and sunny conditions through the weekend.

Today will be sunny and breezy at times, with highs in the upper 50s to around 60.

Tonight, temperatures will fall back into the upper 20s across Northern and Western Maryland, lower to mid 30s for Central and Southern Maryland.

High pressure building in from the north will help push a strong storm system to the south and away from the area. It will also continue the dry and sunny conditions through the weekend.

Today will be mostly sunny with highs around 60. Temperatures will drop into the 30s tonight, but a light wind should help keep frost from forming in most areas.

Tomorrow is Opening Day for the Orioles and the weather will cooperate. Expect sunny skies, with highs in the upper 50s to low 60s.

Scattered showers and storms this afternoon

An area of low pressure moving through the Great Lakes will drag a cold front through the state this evening. Ahead of the front, strong southwesterly winds will send temperatures into the 70s and set the stage for scattered showers and thunderstorms.

There is a slight risk that these storms could become severe with large hail and damaging winds as the primary concern. Be sure to check the radar and be aware of any possible watches and warnings that may be issued this afternoon.

The showers and storms will be pushed eastward and off the coast by later this evening as the cold front moves through.

Breezy and cooler today, temps plummet tonight

A cold front will cross the area this morning allowing colder Canadian air to move in on strong Northwesterly winds. Expect winds to increase through this morning and gust to near 30mph this afternoon. Highs today will top out around 60 before beginning to fall through the afternoon.

A freeze watch is in effect for Central and Southern Maryland, while a Freeze Warning is in effect for Northern and Western Maryland. As winds decrease tonight and skies clear, temperatures will drop to near or below freezing in most spots. Be sure to cover or bring inside any tender vegetation.
