Light Snow/Mix Tonight into Tomorrow Morning

Summary: A weak low pressure will slide by to our south, bringing light precip to our area tonight and tomorrow morning.

Expect light snow to break out around 1AM across the state, lasting through the morning commute, tapering to scattered snow/mix/rain showers during the late morning and early afternoon.

In general, a couple of inches of snow can be expected, impacting the morning commute. The highest snowfall amounts will be across the northern and western counties, with lesser amounts across central Maryland, and minimal amounts in southern Maryland and on the Eastern Shore.

Scattered showers are likely to linger through late tomorrow night as a coastal low develops and moves by early Saturday.
