Scattered Showers and Storms Today

Current Surface Map
Current Surface Map
A cold front will remain to our west today as ample moisture continues to stream up the coast. The result will be another round of scattered showers and thunderstorms this afternoon. Some of the storms could produce locally heavy rainfall and strong gusty winds. Highs today will be in the mid 80s.

Isolated storms will be possible overnight while there is a better chance of storms tomorrow as the front moves closer. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

The front will move into the area Saturday and likely stall near or south of the state. Isolated to scattered afternoon and evening thunderstorms will be possible on Saturday. Highs will be in the upper 80s to near 90.

The front may move far enough south to keep rain out of the forecast on Sunday. If it does, expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid 80s.

It is expected that the front will move back to the north as a warm front as we move into next week, followed by a cold front on Tuesday. This will lead to more unsettled conditions with showers and thunderstorms possible through at least mid week.
