Quiet Stretch into the Weekend

Current Surface Map
High pressure will continue to build into the region today and tomorrow, influencing the weather into the weekend.

We will only rise a few degrees from current temperatures today, with a high around 50 under partly sunny skies.

Tomorrow and Thursday will be mostly sunny with highs in the upper 40s.

Friday and Saturday will feature mostly sunny skies with highs around 50.

Rain chances increase late Saturday as another area of low pressure moves toward the area.

Foggy Start; Cold Front Passes Tonight

Current Surface Map
Light easterly flow has brought moisture into the area resulting in locally dense fog this morning. The fog will gradually clear as a warm front moves through the area this afternoon. Meanwhile, a cold front will continue to move towards the area from the west.

These two features will allow showers to develop this afternoon and into tonight. Highs today will push into the mid 60s ahead of the front.

The front clears the area late tonight, bringing an end to the showers.

Scattered Showers Through the Weekend

Current Surface Map
Warmer air moving in aloft combined with a light easterly flow at the surface has developed showers over most of the state today. Scattered showers are expected to continue through the day. Highs will be around 50 degrees.

Rain chances continue tonight and into tomorrow morning before moving northward and out of the area. Clouds will slowly decrease tomorrow afternoon as temperatures push into the low 60s.

During the overnight Saturday, a backdoor cold front will push into the region bringing another round of clouds and showers for Sunday. Highs will be in the low to mid 50s.

Sunny Today; Slight Chance of Rain Tomorrow

Current Surface Map
High pressure is overhead this morning and will slide off the coast tonight. This will provide a sunny but cold day today. Highs will top out in the mid 40s.

Clouds will increase tonight and tomorrow as a weak frontal boundary sets up in our area. Warmer air flowing northward may cause light showers to break out later tomorrow. Highs will be around 50 degrees under cloudy skies.

The front should push northward Saturday as southerly flow strengthens. This will allow for more sunshine and temperatures in the low 60s.

Decreasing Clouds, Cooler Today

Current Surface Map
The cold front has passed through the area this morning and winds have shifted to the northwest. These winds will increase this afternoon, gusting to over 25mph at times.

Skies will gradually clear through the day as drier air moves in. Highs today will top out in the mid to upper 50s.

Lows tonight will drop to around 30 degrees under clear skies as high pressure builds in.

Tomorrow will be mostly sunny and cold, with highs in the low to mid 40s.

Warm Today; Cold Front Passes Tonight

Current Surface Map
As high pressure is pushed off the coast, and a cold front approaches from the west, southerly flow will push temperatures to near 70 degrees this afternoon under decreasing clouds.

The cold front will cross tonight with very little moisture. There is a very slight chance of a shower as it crosses late tonight into tomorrow morning.

Otherwise, expect clouds and the humidity to decrease through the day tomorrow as northwest winds increase. Highs will be in the mid to upper 50s.

Mild Start to the Week; Cold Front Passes Tomorrow Night

Current Surface Map
The much anticipated warm weather will arrive today as high pressure off the coast sets up a southerly flow. Highs today will push into the mid to upper 60s.

Tonight, temperatures will only fall into the mid to upper 40s in most areas.

We will squeak out another very mild day tomorrow, as highs continue in the mid to upper 60s under partly sunny skies.

The cold front will push into the region Tuesday night, bringing with it a slight chance of showers through Wednesday morning. Lows tomorrow night will be in the upper 40s to around 50 and highs on Wednesday will be in the mid to upper 50s.
