Sunny Today; Slight Chance of Rain Tomorrow

Current Surface Map
High pressure is overhead this morning and will slide off the coast tonight. This will provide a sunny but cold day today. Highs will top out in the mid 40s.

Clouds will increase tonight and tomorrow as a weak frontal boundary sets up in our area. Warmer air flowing northward may cause light showers to break out later tomorrow. Highs will be around 50 degrees under cloudy skies.

The front should push northward Saturday as southerly flow strengthens. This will allow for more sunshine and temperatures in the low 60s.

High pressure will build in Saturday, but another backdoor cold front may push into the area, bringing another round of cloudy, drizzly weather for Saturday night and Sunday.

A strong cold front will approach from the west on Monday. The front will provide southerly flow ahead of it which will keep shower chances in the forecast during the day Monday. Highs will be in the low to mid 60s.

The front crosses late Monday night into Tuesday bringing an even better chance of rain, followed by much cooler air for the latter half of the work week.
