Warm Week Ahead, Colder Next Week; Watching the Tropics

Current Surface Map
High pressure will remain in control of the weather for much of this week, sliding off the coast and allowing temperatures to warm. A cold front will then bring in much colder air for next week while a tropical system develops in the Caribbean.

Ample sunshine is on tap for today. Highs will be around 70 degrees.

Tomorrow will feature a bit more cloud cover but despite the clouds, highs will push well into the 70s, possibly approaching 80 degrees.

More of the same is expected Wednesday and Thursday. Partly sunny skies with highs in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees.
