A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for: Anne Arundel, Baltimore, Baltimore City, Calvert, Caroline, Carroll, Charles, Frederick, Harford, Howard, Kent, Montgomery, Prince George’s, Queen Anne’s, St. Mary’s and Talbot counties
A Winter Storm Warning has been issued for: Dorchester, Somerset, Wicomico and Worcester counties
The afternoon models have shifted the storm track just a bit to the north and as a result, more accumulating snow is likely for the state. All of central and southern Maryland as well as the upper Eastern Shore is now under a Winter Weather Advisory while the lower Eastern Shore has been upgraded to a Winter Storm Warning.
I have modified my snowfall forecast map, shifting my forecast to the north and upping totals across the lower Delmarva. I have adjusted the start time lines as well.
Unless there is an unexpected, drastic change in the storm track this will be my final forecast update for this storm.
