TODAY: A cold front will cross the state today, bringing showers and storms this afternoon and evening. These storms will be capable of producing locally heavy rainfall and flash flooding. It will be hot and humid, with highs around 90°.

FRIDAY: High pressure builds in, resulting in sunny skies and highs in the upper 80s to around 90° but with a drop in the humidity.

SATURDAY: Continued mostly sunny and hot, with a slight chance of an isolated afternoon shower or thunderstorm. Highs will be around 90°.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny and hot. Highs around 90°.

OUTLOOK: The heat and humidity will persist into Monday while a cold front approaches from the west. The front will pass through on Tuesday and drop temperatures for the latter half of the week.
