High pressure over the southeast US will keep warm and humid air over our region. A cold front will cross tomorrow followed by another system late Thursday.

TODAY: Expect hot and humid conditions under mostly sunny skies. Highs will be in the low 90s.

THURSDAY: It will be mostly sunny, breezy and even warmer than today. Afternoon highs will reach the mid 90s. A cold front will move into the area during the afternoon and evening, bringing scattered showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could become strong to severe with damaging winds as the main threat.

WEDNESDAY: With slightly cooler and drier air moving in behind the front, expect mostly sunny skies and highs in the mid to upper 80s.

THURSDAY: A storm system will approach from the west and push through, bringing showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

FRIDAY: Another disturbance will likely push through Friday, with more showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be in the low 80s.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: We remain unsettled, with continued rain chances both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the low 80s both days.
