Cloudy, chance of flurries today

Current Surface Map
A vigorous clipper system will continue moving to the south of the state, through southern Virginia this morning. The storm will bring a chance of flurries to the state, mainly in southern Maryland. Any accumulating snow will be confined to central and southern Virginia.

Along with the snow, the system is bringing in cooler air for today and tomorrow with highs in the mid to upper 40s both days.

High pressure takes control tomorrow and moves off the coast Wednesday and Thursday allowing southerly flow to develop. Temperatures will push back into the 60s on Wednesday and near 70 on Thursday before a cold front approaches and moves through Thursday night and Friday, bringing a chance of showers and a return to near normal early March temperatures for the weekend.
