About/Contact
Born and raised in Maryland, I was a weather enthusiast from an early age. After graduating from high school, I went to Valparaiso University to study meteorology. I graduated from Valpo in 2004 with my degree in Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics. I then began working as a Network Engineer for the National Weather Service providing support for the Advanced Weather Interactive Processing System (AWIPS). Next, I moved over to the testing side of AWIPS, where I tested the latest software builds and updates to the system.
After a few years on the AWIPS team, I switched gears and went to work for the Space Telescope Science Institute (STScI) in Baltimore, where I am currently a Systems Integration and Test Engineer. I am working on the James Webb Space Telescope (JWST) that is scheduled to launch in 2018.
I completed my Masters degree in Information Technology from University of Maryland University College in December 2009 and as my hobby I maintain this website, it’s Facebook Fan Page and Twitter feed.
