screen-shot-2016-10-07-at-9-21-05-amWhile Hurricane Matthew churns to our south, a cold front is approaching from the west. The front will move through tomorrow afternoon, bringing widespread showers to our area.

Rainfall totals will generally be between .10-.25″ across most of the state, except over the mountains and across the lower Eastern Shore, where between a half to 1″ are likely.

The front will clear out tomorrow night and cooler and drier air will begin to overspread the area by Sunday morning. Winds will increase, gusting to near 30mph at times on Sunday. Highs will top out in the mid to upper 60s under mostly sunny skies.

Clear and calm conditions will persist into early next week, with highs in the 60s and lows in the 40s to 50s.
