TODAY: Today will feature more clouds than previous days with isolated showers and thunderstorms popping up this afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

WEDNESDAY: Showers and thunderstorms are expected to be more numerous than today, but still scattered in nature. Some of the showers and storms could produce locally heavy rainfall. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

THURSDAY: Showers and thunderstorms will be likely as a cold front approaches and moves into the area. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

FRIDAY: The front will likely stall out along the coastline, keeping showers and storms possible over the eastern portion of the state. Elsewhere, expect decreasing clouds and highs in the mid 80s.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: The front along the coast will interact with an area of low pressure that is expected to develop and move north over the ocean. These features will keep a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms in the forecast both Saturday and Sunday. Highs will be in the mid 80s both days.
