High pressure will remain in control today but will begin to be displaced as a cold front moves in from the west. The front will move into the area Thursday followed by high pressure late Friday and into the weekend.

TODAY: Today will be mostly sunny and warm, with highs in the low 90s. There is a slight chance of showers, mainly west tonight.

TUESDAY: As the high is pushed further east, return flow will bring increased moisture and a chance of afternoon and evening showers and storms. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90°.

WEDNESDAY: There is a better chance of showers and thunderstorms as the front moves closer to the area. Highs will be in the upper 80s to around 90°.

THURSDAY: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are likely as the front finally arrives. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

FRIDAY: The front will slowly push through, clearing the area during the morning hours. As a result, showers and storms will be possible the first half of the day. Highs will be in the upper 80s.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: High pressure builds in late Friday setting up a mostly dry weekend. Expect highs both Saturday and Sunday to be in the mid to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies.
