High pressure will briefly control the weather today before a cold front approaches from the west tomorrow. The front will pass through Thursday and stall out to our south Friday.

TODAY: With high pressure in control, expect mostly sunny skies. It will be hot, with highs around 90°.

WEDNESDAY: A cold front will be to our west and southerly flow ahead of it will bring moisture into the region, supporting scattered shower and thunderstorm activity through the day. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

THURSDAY: Any left over showers from Wednesday night will clear out during the morning hours leading to mostly sunny skies. An isolated pop up thunderstorm cannot be ruled out during the afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s.

A weak area of low pressure will move through Thursday night into Friday morning with a chance of showers.

FRIDAY: We should clear out a bit behind the Thursday night low pressure system, but isolated showers and thunderstorms will be possible again during the afternoon hours. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: At this time, Saturday looks dry and warm, with highs around 90°. A weak cold front will approach and move into the region by late Sunday, possibly touching off scattered showers and thunderstorms as it does.
