A cold front will approach and move through today. The front will stall just to our south through the weekend. Several waves of low pressure will move along the front bringing rain chances.

TODAY: A weak cold front will slide through today with just a slight chance of a shower or thunderstorm, mainly south and east. Highs will be in the mid 80s.

THURSDAY: The front stalls just to our south while a wave of low pressure develops and moves along it. As a result, there is a chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly in the evening and into the night. The exact timing and placement of the low will determine when and how much rainfall affects the state. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

FRIDAY: Another wave of low pressure will likely affect the area, with more showers and thunderstorms. Highs will be around 80°.

SATURDAY: More showers and thunderstorms are possible during the late afternoon and evening hours. Highs will be in the low 80s.

OUTLOOK: Sunday looks like a start to a dry stretch of weather that will end during the middle to latter half of the week as another cold front moves into the area. Highs will generally be in the mid to upper 80s for the stretch.
