High pressure just off of the coast will continue this stretch of mostly sunny skies today. It will also be warmer, with highs in the low 70s.

A cold front will approach tomorrow, spreading scattered showers into the state by the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the low 70s.

The front will pass through Tuesday night, with more showers and will be south and east of the area by Wednesday morning. Highs on Wednesday will be in the low 70s with clearing skies.

Thursday will be mostly sunny, with highs in the mid 60s.

An area of low pressure will develop along the cold front that will be stalled out over the Carolinas. The low will pull the front back northward and into our area Friday. This will bring rain chances back into the forecast Friday and Saturday. The exact track of the low will determine how much rain will fall during this period. Highs both days will be in the mid to upper 60s.

Skies should clear behind the system on Sunday.
