A cold front has pushed through the area and cooler and drier air is spilling into the region. High pressure will continue to build, leading to dry and sunny conditions through midweek.

Highs today will be in the low 70s under mostly sunny skies.

Tomorrow will be sunny with highs around 70.

Wednesday will be mostly sunny with highs in the low 70s.

An area of low pressure may form off of the Carolina coastline Thursday into Friday. This low may bring showers to the state during that timeframe.

Right now, it appears it will stay south of the area, keeping us dry. Highs will be in the low 70s Thursday and mid 70s Friday under partly sunny skies.

High pressure will return late Friday and through the weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies Saturday and Sunday, with highs in the upper 70s.
