Showers likely tonight through tomorrow; Cold front crosses Wednesday morning

Today will feature increasing clouds as high pressure moves away from the area and a cold front approaches from the west. Highs will be in the low 80s.

Out ahead of the cold front, a warm front will move northward and will set off showers beginning tonight. Widespread showers will continue through tomorrow with thunderstorms also possible during the afternoon and evening. Highs will be in the upper 70s.

The rainfall will continue tomorrow night and into Wednesday morning. The cold front will pass through during the morning hours, ending the rain from west to east. Behind the front, skies will clear and drier air will filter in on gusty northwest winds. Highs will be around 80.

High pressure will remain in control of the weather for the remainder of the week and into the weekend. Expect mostly sunny skies Thursday through Sunday with highs in the low to mid 80s each day.
