A frontal boundary along the coast will be the focus of showers and thunderstorms this weekend. The first batch of showers is currently moving in from the south. Expect showers to develop across the state today from south to north. Highs will be around 80.

Shower chances will continue through tonight and tomorrow, with the heavier and more widespread rainfall likely south and east of I-95. Highs will be in the upper 70s to low 80s.

A cold front will approach from the west on Sunday, increasing shower and thunderstorm chances state-wide during the day Sunday and into Sunday night. Highs will be around 80.

The front should push through the area Monday. As it does, scattered showers and thunderstorms will be possible. Highs will be in the low to mid 80s.

Behind the front, high pressure will build in briefly, bringing drier weather Tuesday and Wednesday. Highs will be in the mid to upper 80s both days.
