Mostly sunny today and tomorrow; Afternoon storms possible this weekend

Current Surface Map
The cold front that brought thunderstorms to the state yesterday and last night has pushed off the coast, allowing high pressure to move into the area. Highs today will be in the mid to upper 80s with slightly lower humidity than the past few days.

Tomorrow should be even nicer, with highs in the mid 80s and lower humidity.

High pressure will slide off the coast late tomorrow, allowing southerly flow to develop and increase humidity again this weekend. This will result in possible isolated showers and thunderstorms both Saturday and Sunday afternoons. Highs both days will be in the mid 80s.

Expect more of the same as we move into next week. Isolated to scattered storms are possible Monday and Tuesday before another cold front approaches mid-week. Highs will be in the upper 80s Monday and around 90 on Tuesday.
