Cold Front Pressing Through, Drier Air on the Way

Current Surface Map
A cold front is currently passing through the state, bringing a line of scattered showers with it. The front will clear the area this afternoon and drier air will begin to filter in bringing a return to sunshine. Highs today will reach the upper 80s.

Expect a cooler and drier day tomorrow and Thursday with highs in the low to mid 80s both days.

As the high moves off shore on Friday, southerly flow will develop, bringing a return of heat and humidity for the weekend. Highs Friday will be around 90 degrees.

Highs around 90 are expected both Saturday and Sunday and there is a chance that the remnant rains from Isaac will be pulled into the area. Current model trends bring rainfall to the area late Sunday and Monday.
