Two More Days of Heat

Current Surface Map
High pressure over the southern Appalachians will continue to push warmer air into the region today and tomorrow.

Temperatures are expected to approach 100 degrees this afternoon under mostly sunny skies. Although it will be hot, dew points are expected to drop into the 60s which will keep heat index values down.

The front will move through Wednesday night and Thursday, allowing rain chances to continue into Thursday evening. Highs will be around 90.

Behind the front, a pleasant end of to the work week and nice weekend are on tap. Highs in the mid to upper 80s under mostly sunny skies.
