Weekly Outlook

High pressure will remain in control and provide several days of dry weather to begin the week. Temperatures will be comfortable with highs in the low to mid 80s and lows will drop to the upper 40s tonight in the mountains to low 60s in the metro area.

A cold front will move through on Thursday night, bringing a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms.

The other feature that must be monitored is Hurricane Irene. Irene is forecast to move up the coast, possibly affecting the area late next weekend.
