A mostly cloudy, warm day

Today will be mostly cloudy with a slight chance of an afternoon shower with highs around 90. The Department of the Environment has issued a Code Orange Air Quality alert for Central Maryland. With the building heat and humidity and light winds, air pollution levels will become unhealthy for sensitive groups.

Temperatures will be even warmer tomorrow, with highs in the upper 90s to around 100 possibly requiring a Heat Advisory from the National Weather Service. There is a slight chance of afternoon thunderstorms tomorrow and Saturday as the heat and humidity stick around before dropping back to the low 90s for Sunday and into next week.
