After a very pleasant weekend and start to the new week, the heat and humidity returns. Sunshine will dominate the week as high pressure builds in and moves off the coast, bringing southerly flow and temperatures back into the mid to upper 90s by Wednesday and Thursday. A cold front will try to bring relief to the area on Friday, but will stall out over the region allowing for a chance of storms Friday and into the weekend, while knocking temperatures back a bit.
